Access

Access to your home is vital for our services. If your home has an alarm system, please give access information to A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC.

There are multiple ways you can choose to give us access to your home. You can give us a key that we keep at our company. This key will never have your name or address attached to it. It will be kept in our key lock box and is coded for security.

Another option would be if your home has a keypad code on the door or to enter through an attached garage. Supply us with the code and our cleaner(s) will use it to get into your home.

The last option would be to hide the key somewhere outside your home and let us know where it will be. This is not the safest option because while our Cleaner(s) will do their best to be private, we cannot assure no one will see our cleaner(s) putting the key back or taking it. If you choose to do this option, we recommend purchasing a lock box with a code, giving us the code and putting the key inside the lock box.

If none of these options above are possible, please make alternate arrangements with the office.

If our cleaner(s) arrive at your house and have no way to get in, there will be a cancellation fee.

Payment and Cancellations

When you book your appointment, our system will take your card information. On the day of your booking at 7am, there will be a hold charge on your card. Your payment will be processed by 5pm that day. If you reschedule your cleaning less than 24 hours in advance, there will be a fee up to 35% of your booking total.

If you cancel your cleaning less than 24 hours in advance, there will be a fee up to 100% of your booking total. This would include if our cleaner(s) show up to your house and there is no key or code to get inside and are unable to enter the home for any reason. Our cleaner(s) will make every effort to contact you if this occurs but if you are unreachable and they can’t get in, there will be a cancellation fee.

Scheduling

Our standard cleanings are scheduled on a recurring basis when you book for the first time. You can choose between weekly, every other week, or every month. Whatever day and arrival window you choose for the first cleaning will be applied to all future bookings as well. This can be changed by logging into your dashboard. Our one-time cleaning options include deep cleaning and move-in/move-out cleaning. These cleanings are scheduled with an arrival time window and date. Our cleaner(s) make every effort to be at your home within their arrival window. If they are running behind or ahead of schedule for any reason, someone will contact you to make sure the change of time is still convenient for you.

We make every effort to have the same cleaner(s) clean your home on a regular basis; however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness, or departure from the company, cleaner(s) may be switched. We will make every effort to contact you if your cleaner(s) is changing.

We reserve the right to charge additional fees to the final price of cleanings considered heavy or inappropriate to the description of the home submitted at booking. If a situation like this arises, we will contact you and inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work.

Photography

A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to take before and after photos during a job for quality and promotional purposes. A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC will never retain or use photos containing personal or self-identifying information or subject matter.

Arrival Windows

To ensure quality service for all valued customers, A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our cleaner(s) to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you. Our arrival windows are 2-hour blocks. For example, if you select the 8am-10am arrival window, our cleaner(s) will get to your home anywhere between 8am and 10am. This does not mean our cleaners will leave your house at 10am.

Feedback

After each cleaning, you will have the opportunity to review the job. Your rating will help us improve our service and specifically serve your home better. Your opinions and feedback are essential in getting to know you as a customer and your home’s specific needs.

24-Hour Guarantee

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC will happily re-clean any area that you are not satisfied with. Contact us at (404) 988-9348 within 24-hours and we will schedule a time to come re-clean the impacted area. We will make every effort to re-schedule the cleaning within 24-hours of our conversation, if it’s convenient for you. A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC cannot issue a refund after a cleaning service is completed, which is why we offer the 24-hour re-clean option to make it right.

Gratuity

A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC never requires or expects a tip. We pride ourselves on paying our team members above-average rates. However, if you feel your cleaner(s) went above and beyond and would like to thank them with a tip, there is an option in your account to add a tip. If you want to give a cash tip, we ask that you leave the tip in an envelope with either your cleaner(s) names or the company name and put it in plain sight, such as on a kitchen table or counter.

Another way to say thank you to your cleaner is by leaving an online review expressing your appreciation for their service.

Breakage/Loss

Our cleaner(s) are trained to respect your home and everything inside your home. We understand that mistakes happen which is why A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC is insured. If something is broken in your house, our cleaner(s) are trained to call the office and we will alert you right away to discuss options for repair or replacement. If our cleaner(s) break or lose something in your house and you were not informed, call the office (404) 988- 9348 within 48-hours of your cleaning and inform us.

Supplies

A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC will provide all supplies and equipment needed to clean your home. If you would like us to use a specific cleaner, we ask that you inform us when you book and leave it out in plain sight, such as on the kitchen counter, island, or in a specific location by where the cleaner is to be used.

Minors/Children

To protect our cleaner(s) reputations, we ask that no minors/children under the age of 18 be in the home without a parent or guardian present while we are providing our services. If you have a special request or question about this, give us a call at (404) 988-9348, and we can come up with a personalized plan that works for you and your family.

Pets

We understand that your pets are part of your family and we will treat all animals with love and respect. We ask that you please secure your pet(s) in a comfortable area for their safety as well as our cleaner(s)’ safety. This can be done with a travel crate, kennel, a specific room that we will not clean, or with a trusted friend or family member. If you have a special request or question about this, give us a call at (404) 988-9348, and we can come up with a personalized plan for your pets’ needs together.

Home/Office Temperature/Climate

To ensure the best quality service and the well-being of our team, we kindly request that the thermostat of your home or office is maintained at or below 74 degrees Fahrenheit during the cleaning. If the ambient temperature exceeds this limit and poses a potential risk to the health and safety of our cleaners and we are unable to adjust the temperature during our visit, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Decluttering

A’ La Carte Cleaning Services LLC asks that you declutter your home prior to our cleaner(s) showing up. Simply clear away the clutter (this includes papers, clothing, toys, and other miscellaneous items). Our cleaner(s) do not clean under clutter.

Offices

Our cleaner(s) will not touch paperwork on top of any desk or work surface and therefore will not clean under it. (Unless it’s neatly stacked/organized).

Electronics

Our cleaner(s) do not clean electronics except for dusting them.

Service Limitations

The safety of our cleaner(s) and your valuables are our number one concern. Our cleaner(s) do not climb higher than a two-step ladder. Our cleaner(s) use an extension duster to high dust. We cannot dust anything higher than our cleaner(s) arm range plus a 6-foot extension pole. Our cleaner(s) cannot move or touch firearms. If you own firearms, we ask that these are moved to an area you do not want cleaned and/or locked up. Our cleaner(s) cannot move items weighing more than 10 pounds. They will clean around these items and the item itself without moving it. Our cleaner(s) do not clean animal/human feces, urine, vomit, blood or other similar biohazard materials.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, and Disclaimer Notice, and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us” refer to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of the United States of America. Therefore the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.
